The SPA & Medical SPA offers a variety of customised wellness programmes to nourish both body and mind. The rejuvenating power of thermal water, combined with innovative methods, helps guests achieve a renewed sense of well-being. The Saturnia Collection features a selection of beauty and wellness treatments for the face and body, including rituals, massages, and balneotherapy—an ancient and pure form of thermal water therapy that revitalises the body and mind. Hydro-fitness involves water movements from showers, jets, and waterfalls, while hydropinotherapy uses the inhalation of thermal water vapours to treat respiratory issues.
 

The resort's renowned mud therapy, made from sulphurous water and algae, is used to treat and prevent osteoarticular conditions and promote anti-ageing benefits. Saturnia's therapeutic mud is aged for 12 months and blended with thermal water before being applied to the body for optimal results.
 

In addition to thermal treatments, the SPA & Medical SPA offers a range of physiotherapy services, including kinesitherapy, hydrokinesis, therapeutic massage, and Tecartherapy. Cosmetic treatments such as fillers, injections, skin peels, and laser therapies are also available. Specialised consultations are offered in medical thermal care, dermatology, physiatry, and naturopathy, ensuring a comprehensive approach to health and wellness.

For 3,000 years thermal spring water has continuously flowed from the centre of the earth to the resort’s crater, at a temperature of 37.5 °C. The spring naturally refills itself with 500 litres of fresh water every 4 hours, without any human interference. This process allows the water to retain its purity and natural health benefits. The water flows underground for 40 years through passages lined with 60 metres of clay, before emerging in Saturnia. 2,790 grams of mineral salts are dissolved in each litre of water in addition to sulphurous gas and carbon dioxide. Terme di Saturnia’s water contains sulphur (14 mg per litre of hydrogen sulphide), carbon dioxide (462 cc per litre), sulphate, bicarbonate and alkaline as well as calcium and magnesium. While taking a dip in the spring, one will notice natural thermal plankton. This organic-mineral substance has a gelatinous consistency, varies in colour and appears when coming into contact with the air. Its unique properties have an extraordinary impact on the skin and extracts are used in Terme di Saturnia’s treatments and range of cosmetics.

1919 Restaurant invites guests to a journey into the Tuscan flavours, transforming local, seasonal ingredients into dishes that celebrate the culinary Mediterranean tradition. Intimate and elegant, the restaurant offers an authentic, sustainable dining experience, inspired by the timeless and inventive heritage of Italian cooking. The wine list complements the nature of the dishes and showcases some of the region’s finest labels. The excellent team of chefs add contemporary touches to traditional cuisine and offer lighter and balanced variations of hearty recipes.

 

La Stellata is located in the enchanting hills of Terme di Saturnia’s golf course in a country farmhouse. This Trattoria features farm-to-table ingredients like prime cuts of meat, labels from top wineries of the Maremma and the region of Tuscany, delicious soups dressed with extra virgin olive oil of Terme di Saturnia, charcuterie and cheese platters, typical starters and first courses. A food offering that is classical, direct and honest, in harmony with the traditions of Tuscany and the Maremma, served up in the cosy family atmosphere of a country house.

 

The Wine Lounge is a place where guests can unwind in a courtyard centred around an ancient olive tree whilst sipping on regional and Italian wines.
