Hotel Facilities
At Chiva-Som, the entire resort is devoted to rejuvenating and restoring the human body and mind to the absolute peak of health and wellness. Relax and enjoy the serenity of the grounds a refreshing swim in your choice of the outdoor or indoor pools or visit the boutique and library. For those wanting to get active, there’s an entire range of beautiful facilities at Chiva-Som, such as the gymnasium, numerous studios, and salas where you can indulge in up to a dozen group classes each day from gentle meditation, mindfulness sessions, pranayama and tai chi to invigorating Thai boxing, aqua- aerobics and Gyrokinesis, to name a few. The gym is equipped with all the latest machines, with dedicated spaces for stretching, personal training, dance, reformer Pilates and yoga. Physiotherapy facilities include re-functional, Neurac® and isokinetic studios.
Wellness Facilities
The Health & Wellness Centre is the heart of Chiva-Som’s offering; a multi-storey haven of serenity with dedicated treatment rooms and a relaxation area of daybeds and wet facilities. The Water Therapy Suites feature flotation tubs, jet blitzes and a Watsu pool. The Bathing Pavilion has a large Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, plunge pool and Kneipp reflexology walk, as well as an indoor pool for aqua-aerobics. Guests are also invited to enjoy the outdoor pool by the ocean.
Dining
At Chiva-Som, wellness cuisine is an integral part of their offering; using the fresh, seasonal produce grown in the organic gardens, each meal is well-portioned, nutritious, and importantly, delicious. Guests will also find healthy snacks and teas in their in-room minibar.
The Emerald Room serves Western cuisine as well as the wellness-recipe Chiva-Som Siam Steamboat and a Pescatarian menu in a formal fine dining setting overlooking the ocean .
Taste of Siam is a more casual affair, yet still fine dining, perched over the beach.
Orchid Lounge serves a light afternoon tea with herbal loose-leaf teas and a sweet of the day.
Good to Know
To maintain a restful and relaxing atmosphere, electronics and cameras can only be used in guest rooms and in the library but not in public areas. Chiva-Som’s healthy environment has been created to give everyone the best possible benefits so alcoholic drinks are limited to champagne and wine in the evening only and smoking is permitted in designated areas only.
Location
Hua Hin, a heritage destination on the Gulf of Thailand, is 185 kilometres south of Bangkok. Still the most desirable ocean-front destination in the Southern province of Prachuap Khiri Khan. Hua Hin first gained popularity in the 1920s when the Thai royal family established a collection of summer palaces there, and today, it attracts discerning, like-minded travellers from around the world.

Chiva-Som has a unique collection of 54 exquisite rooms and suites, all of which have recently been renovated with space, comfort and every guest’s wellness journey in mind. Ocean rooms and suites are located in the low-rise main building facing the sunrise, while Thai pavilions are dotted around the gardens. The décor is soothing, with teakwood floors, a neutral palette and soft lighting. All room types include a complimentary healthy minibar and bathroom amenities, mattresses, pillows and the scent of oil burners can all be personalised.
